Rosacea

Rosacea is a skin condition that causes redness to appear on the cheeks, nose, chin and forehead. Redness can become more intense, with small blood vessel becoming visible over time. Our range of innovative treatments can effectively reduce the appearance of rosacea tailored to your skin type.

If left untreated, rosacea can develop into red solid bumps and even pus-filled spots. It can also cause the nose to swell and develop a bulbous appearance known as rhinophyma. It is also known that rosacea can affect the eyes, making them appear bloodshot, watery and feel irritated.

What causes Rosacea?

The majority of individuals who develop rosacea have fair skin tones and complexions that are prone to brushing. Although the causes of this condition are unknown, some associate the skin condition with the following:

  • Blood vessel disorders
  • Skin mites or fungus
  • The malfunction of the connective tissue under the skin
  • Psychological factors
