Can I receive treatment straight after my consultation?
Yes, this is possible and completely up to you. Many of our patients who travel long distances have their consultation and receive treatment on the same day.
Am I suitable for treatment?
Injectable treatments are recommended for people between the ages of 18 and 60.
There are few medical reasons as to why you may not be suitable for treatment. As long as you are generally healthy, with no skin infections or diseases in the treatment area you are most likely suitable.
Treatment is not recommended for pregnant or breast-feeding women, as well as people who have been diagnosed with lipodystrophy or any pathological conditions. During your consultation, your practitioner will assess and recommend the right treatment plan for you.
Can I have treatment if I am not 18?
Unfortunately, no. At such a young age, this type of treatment is hardly needed. However, if for example, you require gummy smile correction we would recommend that clients wait until the age of 18 for this treatment.
I'm pregnant, can I have injections?
Injections are not advised for pregnant or nursing mums, as the effects on the baby are currently unknown.
Are there any side effects?
Whenever the skin is pierced with a needle, it does carry a minor risk of infection, bruising and swelling. These side effects are typical and will be limited to the injection site. Any side effects will reduce after a few days post-treatment.
Less commonly, some patients experience significant bruising around the treated area. However, these side effects are to be expected and will recover within 2 weeks. If you are worried about your results, please get in touch.
Are there any risks?
Injections are only as safe as the individual administrating them. We use the highest-grade sterile equipment and specialist trained nurse prescribers. We are fully insured and professionally qualified to administer injectables, keeping up to date with advanced courses and techniques to give you a unique, tailored service.
Does the treatment hurt? Will I bruise?
Every patient’s experience of pain is different. We will try our best to make the treatment as comfortable as possible for you by using a local anaesthetic before treatment to reduce discomfort. Bruising around the injection site is possible but only a small percentage of patients develop minor bruising. If bruising occurs, it is usually apparent at day 2-3 and will typically resolve over 5-10 days. We are exceptionally experienced with needles to be as gentle and pain-free as possible.
Could I send you a photo first?

We hope this helps. If you have any other questions which aren’t listed please feel free to email us at [email protected] and we will get in touch with you as soon as we can. Aesthetics is our passion and we love to share our knowledge and expertise with our clients.
