What makes the Vampire Procedure unique?
The treatment can be used to tackle a variety of skin worries, using only the patient’s blood. The treatment is best suited for:
- Improving the appearance of scars, stretch marks, wrinkles and hyperpigmentation
- Revitalise the appearance and elasticity of the under-eye area
- Plump and volumise the skin, such as the cheeks.
- Tighten any stubborn open pores on the skin
- Excellent treatment for hair loss
The PRP is a revolutionary treatment, we can perform it as a standalone treatment, or it can be combined with other treatments. We can tailor the best treatment plan for you.
Can the Vampire Procedure help with hyperpigmentation?
The PRP injections work to supply the treated area with growth factors to help reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation. The treatment has no downtime so can be completed in conjunction with other treatments for melasma to help reduce pigmentation. We will tailor the best treatment plan for you to maximise your desired results.
Can the Vampire Procedure help with hair loss?
The PRP injections can help trigger natural hair growth in the treated area. It increases the blood supply to the hair follicles and through the plasma growth factors new hair growth will be stimulated.
We can combine this treatment with other hair loss procedures and hair products to tailor the best treatment plan for you.
Can the Vampire Procedure help with stretch marks?
The PRP injections are a fantastic non-invasive treatment for stretch marks, helping to generate new production of elastin and collagen in the skin.
The release of platelets encourages the stimulation of collagen, helping to heal the skin and improve the appearance of stretch marks. To achieve best results, it is recommended that the PRP treatment is combined with other treatments to maximise your desired results.
Can the Vampire Procedure help with loose skin under the eyes?
The platelet-rich plasma can improve the quality and health of the skin under the eyes. During your consultation, we can advise an individual treatment plan to help you achieve your desired results.
What products are used?
The Vampire Procedure is a facial that uses your own blood to rejuvenate your skin tissue. An anticoagulant and an activator are used to prevent blood coagulation and to activate the platelets found in the blood.
The platelets are rich in growth factors, acting as energy boosts when applied to the skin tissue. The platelets are helping our skin to stimulate more collagen, elastin, antioxidants and have hydrating properties.

The Process
The Vampire Procedure begins with a blood sample, this is relatively painless. The blood is then run through a centrifuge to isolate the platelets. When the platelets are ready, the plasma is injected into the treatment area of the skin. After, you will receive micro-needling on the treatment area to prepare the skin for the PRP to be applied. These advanced techniques will help to improve the quality of your skin.
Downtime
It can take a day or two to recover, depending on the level of microdermabrasion used on your skin. You may have slight redness after treatment, similar to a sunburn. We recommend the use of sun protection post treatment and we are discouraging the use of makeup immediately after treatment.
How soon can I start to see results?
Optimal results can be seen between two to three months after treatment, where the PRP has helped to revitalise the skin. There is a possibility of localised swelling around the injected areas, this is typical and will reduce after a day or two. If any unexpected swelling continues, please get in touch.
Aftercare Advice
For a minimum of 5 hours after treatment, we ask that you do not:
Wash or expose the treated areas directly to heat or the sun
Engage in strenuous exercise that can cause sweating
Expose the treated areas to saunas, steam rooms, jacuzzi, or hot showers
You will be given a detailed aftercare leaflet post treatment explaining everything you need to know.
Am I a good candidate?
Anyone with skin worries such as wrinkles, sun damage, scars, acne scars, stretch marks, hair loss, loss of laxity, opened pores, dull and dehydrated skin. As well as anyone who seeks an even tone and a fresher appearance to their skin is an ideal candidate.
How much does it cost?
£400 for one area
£600 for two areas
£800 for three areas
How many treatments do I need?
We recommend a PRP course consisting of 3-4 treatments spaced 4-12 weeks apart. This depends on the area being treated and your desired results. The treatment will be followed with a recommended maintenance program once or twice a year.
How long do results last?
You will first see initial results 2-3 months after treatment. The results will continue to improve up to 8-12 months. We recommend a maintenance program to maintain optimal results.
Who performs the treatment?
As the injections are viewed as a medical treatment, they should be performed by a qualified professional in a medical environment. At the clinic, our team of highly experienced and highly qualified nurse prescribers ensure that every treatment we complete is safe, and of a high professional standard.
I'm pregnant, can I have the Vampire Procedure?
We do not advise PRP procedures during pregnancy or breast-feeding.
Is the treatment painful? Will I bruise?
The Vampire Procedure is extremely safe as it recycles the body’s blood. The only potential risks are discomfort with the blood sample being taken and small bruising from injection or micro-needling.
Are there any contraindications?
Treatment is not recommended if you are under 18, are pregnant or planning to become pregnant.
Your nurse prescriber will discuss everything in detail with you during your consultation as there are many other conditions and medications which could interact with the procedure. Please be upfront with your medical history, however, PRP is rarely contraindicated.
Are there any side effects?
Every patient’s experience of pain is different, however, we will try our best to make the treatment as comfortable as possible for you. Bruising around the injection site is possible but only a small percentage of patients develop small bruising. If bruising occurs, it is usually apparent at day 2-3 and will typically resolve over 5-10 days.
Other possible side effects include swelling or puffiness, mild irritation and bruising around the eyes. This bruising is very common as the under-eye area has lots of small blood vessels.
Could I have the vampire procedure if I am not 18?
The treatment is recommended for people between the ages of 18 and 60. Unfortunately, anyone under the age of 18 cannot receive this treatment.
