Profile Balancing
Is a highly effective treatment as uses several different procedures with hyaluronic acid. It is a bespoke treatment used to balance the features of an individual’s facial profile, enhancing and complementing the existing features of the face.
The treatment is tailored to you with specific procedures used to enhance the beauty of your profile. It is also more cost-effective, compared to receiving individual dermal filler treatments in single sessions and the end result is enhanced.

What is Profile Balancing?
Profile Balancing can be used to treat a variety of skin concerns such as hydration, wrinkles, smile lines and sagging skin. It is an ideal treatment for firming and smoothing skin around the eyes, temples, nose, cheeks, mouth, chin, jaw line and hands.
Profile Balancing is ideal for patients who have not received fillers before and are showing signs of ageing. Within your consultation, we will be able to assess and recommend the right treatment plan for you.

Anyone worried about signs of ageing on their skin or who has not received fillers before is suitable for treatment. The treatment is recommended for people between the ages of 18 and 60. Profile balancing procedure can be used on its own, or to complement other injectable treatments.
The filler Aliaxin AV will be primarily used for this treatment. It contains ultrapure hyaluronic acid, which is naturally found in the skin, so it has a very low risk of an allergic reaction. The filler will help to restore a youthful appearance and balance to the face by filling targeted facial areas, such as the eyes, nose, cheek, lip, chin, jaw line and hands.
Your practitioner will tailor the right treatment plan for you based on your desired results, individual physiology and facial structure. Results are based on the skills of your practitioner, not the type of product (as long as it is a reputable brand of filler), so ensure your practitioner is well qualified and professional.
As the injections are viewed as a medical treatment, they should be performed by a qualified professional in a medical environment. At the clinic, our team of highly experienced and highly qualified nurse prescribers ensure that every treatment we complete is safe and of a high professional standard.
Yes, this is possible and completely up to you. Many of our patients who travel long distances have their consultation and receive treatment on the same day.
Typically, you can expect results to last for up to 1 to 2 years before the body reabsorbs the hyaluronic acid and then repeat injections would be required.
This can vary from person to person, depending on the age of the patient, their metabolism, how much exercise they do regularly, the normal blood flow to the face and if they smoke. For example, younger patients tend to typically have a faster metabolism and increased blood flow to the face, so the filler may last shorter as their body would reabsorb the filler quicker compared to a patient with a slower metabolism.
Pricing starts from £1400 for 5 mls of filler.
Treatment and pricing will be tailored to your desired results. Offering £300/ml for any additional top-ups between 3-6 months after initial treatment. All this will be covered with full transparency in your consultation with your practitioner. The quantity of the filler needed is determined by the intensity of the result you would like to achieve; the cost is then worked out based on how much dermal filler is needed.
This depends on the desired results you’re looking for. Typically, we will administer between 4-5 mls depending on each individual’s expectations.
During your consultation, you will be advised by your practitioner what is the right treatment plan for you. We do recommend further top-up treatments in the future, to maintain your desired appearance.
Results can be seen right away, however, there may be localised swelling around the injected areas for a day or two. If unexpected swelling continues, please get in contact with your practitioner.
You may experience tenderness or soreness after your treatment. Any swelling should reduce within a few days. These side effects are completely normal and do not present concern. To help the treated area heal, avoid touching the treated areas, wearing makeup or partaking in physical exercise in the days following your treatment.
Every patient’s experience of pain is different, however, we try our best to make the treatment as comfortable as possible for you. We use a local anaesthetic before treatment to reduce discomfort. Bruising around the injection site is possible but only a small percentage of patients develop very minor bruising. If bruising occurs, it is usually apparent at day 2-3 and will typically resolve over 5-10 days. We are exceptionally experienced with needles to be as gentle and pain-free as possible.
You may experience minor lumps, swelling or puffiness from treatment, which will reduce in 1 to 2 days after treatment. Due to the delicate areas being treated, these side effects are completely normal and could last for a few days. As the filler is non-permanent, any side effects will improve and heal with time. If you’re concerned, please get in touch for some advice.
Ageing is individual, so there is no right time to get fillers. If you begin to notice subtle changes, such as your makeup no longer looking right, it may be as a result of ageing. We would not recommend anyone under the age of 18 to receive fillers.
It’s possible to instantly dissolve hyaluronic acid fillers using the same enzyme the body uses to break down its own natural hyaluronic acid in the skin.
The treatment is recommended for people between the ages of 18 and 60. Unfortunately, anyone under the age of 18 cannot receive this treatment.
