Injectables
We have a range of specialised treatments at our clinic that can enhance your natural beauty.
As injections are viewed as a medical treatment, they should be performed by a qualified professional in a medical environment. At the clinic, our team are highly experienced and highly qualified nurse prescribers, ensuring that every treatment we complete is safe and meets the highest professional standard.
Your practitioner will tailor the right treatment plan for you based on your desired results, individual physiology and facial structure. Results are based on the skills of your practitioner, not the type of product (as long as it is a reputable brand of filler), so ensure your practitioner is well qualified and professional.
What does the treatment involve?
Treatment starts with an initial consultation. We will take the time to understand the results you’re looking for and advise accordingly. Then, we will assess the areas you’re looking to soften or rejuvenate and take professional photographs for your private record sheet.
As every treatment is tailored to the patient, a bespoke treatment will be administered to help achieve your desired results.

Yes, this is possible and completely up to you. Many of our patients who travel long distances have their consultation and receive treatment on the same day.
Injectable treatments are recommended for people between the ages of 18 and 60.
There are few medical reasons as to why you may not be suitable for treatment. As long as you are generally healthy, with no skin infections or diseases in the treatment area you are most likely suitable.
Treatment is not recommended for pregnant or breast-feeding women, as well as people who have been diagnosed with lipodystrophy or any pathological conditions. During your consultation, your practitioner will assess and recommend the right treatment plan for you.
Unfortunately, no. At such a young age, this type of treatment is hardly needed. However, if for example, you require gummy smile correction we would recommend that clients wait until the age of 18 for this treatment.
Injections are not advised for pregnant or nursing mums, as the effects on the baby are currently unknown.
Whenever the skin is pierced with a needle, it does carry a minor risk of infection, bruising and swelling. These side effects are typical and will be limited to the injection site. Any side effects will reduce after a few days post-treatment.
Less commonly, some patients experience significant bruising around the treated area. However, these side effects are to be expected and will recover within 2 weeks. If you are worried about your results, please get in touch.
Injections are only as safe as the individual administrating them. We use the highest-grade sterile equipment and specialist trained nurse prescribers. We are fully insured and professionally qualified to administer injectables, keeping up to date with advanced courses and techniques to give you a unique, tailored service.
Every patient’s experience of pain is different. We will try our best to make the treatment as comfortable as possible for you by using a local anaesthetic before treatment to reduce discomfort. Bruising around the injection site is possible but only a small percentage of patients develop minor bruising. If bruising occurs, it is usually apparent at day 2-3 and will typically resolve over 5-10 days. We are exceptionally experienced with needles to be as gentle and pain-free as possible.
It is against our Good Medical Practice ethics code and guidelines to definitely commit to treatments from emails and photos. For accurate advice and a tailored treatment plan, we ask for you to make a consultation appointment with us so we can provide the best service for you.
We hope this helps. If you have any other questions which aren’t listed please feel free to email us at vd@pearlaesthetics.co.uk and we will get in touch with you as soon as we can. Aesthetics is our passion and we love to share our knowledge and expertise with our clients.
